.science foundation uitm puncak alam.

    Having graduated from Asasi Sains PI080 UiTM Kampus Puncak Alam just recently, I thought of writing down my experience while I was a student, back then.

    Matriculation program, 1-year duration, 2 semesters, and 4 subjects to be learned. Which are Bio092/Bio096, Chm091/Chm095, Phy093/Phy097, and Mat094/Mat098. Banyak belajar basics, lebih kurang sama macam SPM dulu. Well, maybe just a little deeper.

    To me, subjek Fizik SANGAT SUSAH.! >:O

        
        Fizik tak basic ye. Dia punya masuk tu memang masuk dalam gila-gila. OK what I meant was, learning Physics was almost like we're preparing to be an engineer. Dan kalau Fizik kami sesusah itu, I really can't imagine what the engineering foundation students had to face. Pernah tanya, they said, "Macam nak mati punya susah." I dunno la true or not. Tengok muka selamba yaya je. Macam takde hal. But ada la SEGELINTIR people said Physics is a piece o' cake. Fine la kan, KAU PANDAI.!

    Other subjects, ok ok la. Math sama susah je macam Addmath dulu. So, it's not really a problem. Bio's my favorite. Chem has always been a pain in a neck to me. But overall, I'm easy. Tho result total CGPA takdela gempak mana but I'm over it. Enough mourning. Hehe~

    Let's talk about somethin' else. The hostel. Sorry la kalau dengar macam bragging je kan, tapi memang nak brag pun. So that future students yang bakal duduk hostel kampus rasa macam excited nak masuk Puncak Alam. Kampus UiTM Puncak Alam adalah kampus yang paling terbaik.! I've been to UiTM Shah Alam, UiTM Puncak Perdana, UM induk, and UPM Serdang. Dah pernah tengok hostel mereka. And that makes me really appreciate it that we're placed at Puncak Alam. At first memang rasa sangat terbeban, because tak biasa duduk asrama. Homesick jangan cakap la. The first two weeks I was being such a crybaby. Every week balik rumah. Tapi mesti la bila dah terbiasa, baru dapat rasa best nya asrama kami. Tapi homesick still tak hilang sampai habis study. :DD

Yes, lantai berjubin ye. Not simen. Licin dan sejuk. :D

    We always let our windows opened, day and night. Because at Puncak Alam, every evening we got wind blowing in. Kalau nap petang, sangat best. And kami satu rumah memang selalu tidur petang pun. Oh did I mentioned "rumah" just now. O yeah, hostel kami is like apartments. Satu rumah ada 4 bilik. Setiap bilik ada 2 penghuni. We got ruang tamu, and satu bilik mandi besar (1 toilet, 1 bathroom, and 1 combined.)

    And every night, suhu environment memang sejuk. I really love it. Sebab kat Shah Alam ni panas sangat, kilang keliling.

Eleh, tiap-tiap malam asyik ngadap benda sama..

    The things that I like most masa jadi students Asasi Sains are our house+housemates and my classmates. Mereka sangat happening. :DD

     O one more thing before I forget, to future penghuni hostel UiTM Puncak Alam, BEWARE OF CHARLIE.! I'm so lucky kerana tidak pernah diganggu charlies seperti orang lain. Haha :DD Goodluck lah korang.!

    O ye O ye lagi satu, bersedialah untuk berhadapan dengan tangga "batu caves" kebanggaan kami. Haha ^^

*Update 2014: I notice that this post had been referred by a lot of future students fr Asasi Sains UiTM. Know that this post is out-dated, and I'm very sure PALAM didn't look like how it used to be. I think it's getting more and more beautiful and full of life nowadays. And from what I heard, PALAM isn't as cool and breezy anymore due to the existence of PALAM neighbourhood (maknanya makin byk rumah and industrial buildings la dibina kat sana). But whatever it is, I just wanna say, I had great experience being there. (:

Maybe the subjects that you guys will take aren't the same anymore. Maybe the house you'll live have different furnitures. Maybe the view is a lot more different. Maybe the environment changes. Tapi ingat, you are going to embark on a new journey. Be prepared. Life in the university is not like how we're used to during highschool. You will face some difficulties. Definitely will meet few a**holes that will make you hate your life. Some people will be so selfish.

No one is there to control you. Nak skip classes.? Nak lepak sampai tengah malam.? Malas nak ulangkaji, buat assignment.? Suka hati je takde orang amik kisah. So you better get your sh*t together and learn some self-control. If you don't, you'll regret it later.

Pesanan akak untuk adik-adik akak, go and have fun. Don't be afraid. Bagi akak, sejujurnya, subjek-subjek asasi tu In Shaa Allah senang dan boleh di-tackle. Jgn takut. Lecturer semua baik-baik. Cari kawan yg elok perangai. Sorry la akak dah takde gambar-gambar lain dah. Banyak gambar dengan kawan-kawan masa kat sana. Kalau still rasa curious, boleh usya page FB UiTM Puncak Alam Troll.

Dengar-dengar lagi, katanya student asasi akan dipindahkan. Hmmmm..
